The clock reads 2:30 a.m. I’m in the middle of a wedding in the southern part of Cologne. The lights are dimmed, the guests are beaming with happiness. Suddenly, a guest approaches me and makes a request: “There’s this one Drake song that would be perfect right now.” I briefly consider “One Dance,” “The Motto,” and “Nice for What.” The third one is the choice, and it hits the mark!

By the chorus, everyone is singing along. Honest emotions, pulsating disco sounds, and Robyn’s warm voice merge into a dance floor magnet for the more alternative dance floor.
